Verona card - 24h/48h city pass open-date

The Verona Card offers free bus rides and discounts on some of the most interesting museums in the  city. Verona is the perfect place for a day trip to the city during your stay in Italy.Visit the impressive and majestic Roman Amphitheater Arena and imagine you are a gladiator!

Verona Card does not have a fixed date, so you can use it whenever you want after purchase; your card will be valid for 24 or 48 hours after the first validation.

Children and Teens up to 17 years old get free admission to Juliet's House, Arena di Verona, Achille Forti Gallery of Modern Art, Arche Scaligere, Archaeological Museum at the Roman Theater, Museum of Frescos "G.B. Cavalcaselle" and Juliet's Tomb, Lamberti Tower, Museum of Castelvecchio, Civic Museum of Natural History and Maffeian Lapidary Museum. 

In view of the 2026 Games, the Arena will follow the following new opening hours: complete closure to the public from Tuesday 15 October to Friday 6 December inclusive, and early closure at 3:00 p.m. from Saturday 7 December to Tuesday 31 December inclusive.

Due to an event in the city, on Sunday 17 November 2024, the IAT for card collection will be temporarily located at the Museo Lapidario Maffeiano in Piazza Bra 28 - 37121 Verona, opening hours 10.00 - 16.30.

On 25th December and 1st January all museums and monuments are closed, open in the other Italian Holidays. Monday 1 April (Easter Monday) ALL the Civic Museums will be open at their usual times, this is an extraordinary opening because normally all the Civic Museums are closed on Mondays. 

Due to renovation works from October 2024 the Arena di Verona will undergo changes in opening hours: from 15 October to 6 December 2024 closed, from 7 to 31 December 2024 open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (last admission 2.30 p.m.). Due to an event in the city, on Sunday 17 November 2024, the IAT for card collection will be temporarily located at the Museo Lapidario Maffeiano in Piazza Bra 28 - 37121 Verona, opening hours 10.00 - 16.30. For all sites opening hours may be subject to change, admission is restricted and booking a visit when possible is strongly recommended. TRAVELLING TO/IN VERONA By car. Verona is a strategic stop on the Milan - Venice line and enable to travel on Regional trains (urban trains, most of the time are not high speed, but they allow you to stop in each nearby town), Freccia and Italo trains (high speed trains)- all going towards Venice.The central station of Verona and the closest to the centre is Verona Porta Nuova. By bus.The utmost efficiency, convenience and practicality is ensured by the ATV urban bus line. From Verona Porta Nuova train station is available a shuttle service to Catullo airport and from the train station to the airport, which operates daily.
